One Tired Boy

Dallin wore himself out in his jumper tonight. I was at my mom's house supervising my little brother's party while my mom was getting my dad from the airport. Russ had him in the jumper after feeding him and he jumped until he fell asleep.

Toe Sucking Dallin

Well, it's happened. Dallin's toes have found their way into his mouth. Funny how when a six month old sticks his toes in his mouth we all think it's cute. If a 14 your old, say TY, stuck his toes in his mouth we would all think it was gross. If a 29 year old, say Russ, stuck his toes in his mouth we would all think he was a few fries short of a happy meal.

Speaking of crazy 29 year olds, it just so happens that today Russ turned 29. Yeah Russ!!!! This is his last year until he's really an adult. So what do you want to be when you grow up Russ? Done with school!! To celebrate we ate at the Texas Road House. Yummy! I would highly recommend it.

Google Reader Rocks! (Thanks Julie)

I don't know if any of you are familiar with Google Reader, but it is so awesome. It allows you to subscribe to different blogs. You then only have to sign on to Google Reader and it will tell you what blogs have been updated since last time you looked at them. This way you can keep up on a bunch of people's blogs without having to go to each web page to see if they have been updated. If you don't use it, I recommend it. Russ talked me into it, and I love it. I never miss new posts.

Silly Songs With Larry

When I was at Ricks, a room mate of mine, who shall remain nameless (you know who you are) talked me into buying a Veggie Tales video of Ultimate Silly Songs With Larry. Well, Dallin loves music so we decided to see what he thought of the video. He loves it. We end up watching it almost daily. It gives mom time when she doesn't have to hold him. The picture shows how he is totally engrossed in the movie. In the video you can hear him sing along. Needless to say, both Russ and I sing these silly songs all week. They get stuck in your head.

Running!!!

Well, I went running with Russ and Dallin tonight. The run was about 1 3/4 miles. I ran most of it. I stopped to walk three times. Russ estimates that total I walked just about 1/4 mile of the run. That means I ran about a mile and half. Remember, in the Terrace some of that run is uphill. Other that the burning in my ears from cold wind, my chest on fire from lack of oxygen, side stitches from the running, and the urge to throw up, I feel great :) We are supposed to go again on Friday. Why is it I agreed to this? I'm never watching The Biggest Loser again. It gets dumb ideas in my head, like I want to become a runner.

5 Months!

Dallin turned five months yesterday. I can't believe it. Today at work a girl I know came in with her 6 week old baby Riah. I got to hold her. She weighs 8 1/2 lbs. I can't believe Dallin was ever that tiny. I was afraid I would break her.

Well, here's a picture from Dallin's "5 months old" day. He was just taking a little nap in his car seat. Looks like he's comfy.

Dallin Rolls Over

I finally got a video of Dallin rolling over. The best part is that he isn't crying the whole time he's on his belly.

April Fools!

OK, so maybe I'm mean, but I have never pulled off a good April Fools joke, so this year I was determined to. You see, I had a pregnancy test left over from when we were trying to get pregnant. Since I knew Russ would be taking out the garbage that night, I opened the test and placed it in the garbage. I had to place it so it looked like I hid it, but where I knew he would notice it when he took out the garbage. So, last night while I was in bed, Russ comes into the bedroom and asked it I had taken a pregnancy test. I answered, "Maybe." He then asks, a little nervously, "Are you pregnant?" I couldn't play along any longer. I was laughing too much. I told him "April Fools!" And I started laughing all the harder when he started to get his clothes out of his dresser for the nest morning. You see, I had taken all his clothes out and rearranged them. I thought it was all pretty funny. Russ reminded me what a pain in his rear end I am and felt the need to hold me down and tickle me till I was sick. I guess I deserved that :)

Dallin joined in on the April Fools too. It took an hour and a half to get to bed a baby who usually falls asleep in bed in about ten minutes. Funny Dallin!

We got a talking Dallin video too. I thought the Grandmas would like it. We rarely get him talking on camera because the moment I pull out the camera he just stares.
