What A Good Memorial Day

I have to brag on what a great husband I have. This morning I informed him we needed to do some cleaning around the house. Russ was scrubbing the bathroom sink and toilet while I was cleaning up baby clutter in the front room. Dallin started to fuss, so I took him in the bedroom and laid down on the bed with him. We both fell asleep. When I woke up, Russ had scrubbed the whole bathroom and the whole kitchen, including getting on his hands and knees to scrub the floors. All I had done was fold a couple blankets and put some clothes in the laundry basket. What a great guy! In my opinion, that's as romantic as it gets :) Kathi, good job raising your son.

We went to my parents house for dinner. My mom, Ty, and I roasted hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire, while my dad and Russ watched movies. We had a lot of fun. And we let Dallin have a root beer Popsicle too. He loved it.

Later we played "Ticket To Ride." It is one of the best games ever. It's a strategy game, so it's more than just luck, but not so much strategy that you get frustrated. Dad won. And, in case you were wondering, this photo is staged. I just wanted Lana and Julie to know I was not making up this game. It really does exist. It's not my fault no one at work has ever heard of it . :)

And we finished off the night with some "Deal or No Deal." Some of those people on that show get a little greedy and end up losing a lot of money. But I guess you never know how you will act in that situation.

My parents keep saying what a fun game that ticket to ride is. I'll have to try it out.

Joe and I are always looking for a new fun game to get...we'll have to look around for that one.

After you explained it, I think I've played it before awhile ago. It is a fun game.
