For those who don't know, Russ goes to the Plasma Center often in order to have some guilt-free spending money. Usually he has no problems donating plasma, but this time the girl had a really hard time getting the needle in right. She finally got the needle in and they started the machine. About twenty minutes into it, a large bubble filled with blood formed just above where the needle was inserted. A different lady (one Russ is sure is more experienced) had to take the needle out and put it in his other arm in order to finish. This all happened Tuesday. As you can see from the picture, there is some major bruising. All that from one needle. Go figure. He'll be taking a few weeks off from the donations until it heals.

That just makes my arm ache!
That's a bruise to be proud of, I hope the money was worth it.
Colby always says we should donate plasma, but this makes me not want to do it whatsoever! Is it painful, or just bruised?
Ooooh, that looks bad... remember that time we went and donated plasma and you got really sick? I still feel bad about that.
