Because of the awful wind we had last night, a few of our tomatoes fell off the plant while they were still green. A friend from work suggested that we make fried green tomatoes, so we did. We used
this recipe. They were pretty good. Russ made a good point, however. They could have been any veggie that had been battered and fried. They all taste the same. It's just an excuse to fry something. :) Dallin liked it. He ate half of one and then decided it was much more efficient just to ripe off the fried breading and eat that.

Hmmm...I should try this. It may be the only way I eat tomatoes...deep fried...Mmmm!
That is such a good idea! Smart thinking, I probably would have just thought them as a lost cause.
