OK, I have a confession. I finally took down my Christmas tree/decorations on Wednesday. And to make it worse, the only reason I finally got around to doing it was because my visiting teachers were coming over I was totally embarrassed to leave them up. Maybe sometime soon the boxes with the decoration will actually make it to the storage area. :) I can't believe I forgot how much bigger my front room is without a tree taking up so much room. Dallin had a but of a breakdown when we took it all down. He didn't want his Christmas to be over. It's a good thing we didn't do lights outside. I'm sure they would be up till April. :)
Now the question....Mops? I need a new mop. I had a cheap one from when we first got married. I threw it away about a year or so ago because it was GROSS. Since then, the floor has been scrubbed by my husband, on his hands and knees, with a scrub brush. Since it's so time consuming, it doesn't happen as much as I would like. So I want to know how you all clean your kitchen/bathroom floors. What do you use? How often do you do it? (I understand if no one wants to admit that one :) How do you keep it clean between deep cleanings? With the way Dallin eats, I feel like I need to mop daily! (which I don't do) I know after six years of marriage I should have this cleaning things down, but I always want to learn new ideas/tricks from other people. Thanks!

We use the swiffer wet jet with the antibaterial cleaner with febreze. It says it kills 99.9% and we usually do a quick swipe every couple of days if not daily. We have hard wood floors and it seems to work best for us. How nice of the hubby to get down and scrub the floors for ya - maybe you shouldn't let him read the comments :)
yup-i agree.....swiffer wet jet. and you can usually get pretty good coupons to buy the starter kit and the refills.
I also use the swiffer sweeper.
We just have a regular mop that doesn't get used as much as it should on our tile. I spot clean a lot with baby wipes. I use baby wipes for everything!
I love the swiffer wet jet. But we have the wood floors. I hated the way it used to work on my old tile floors though. So if you have linoleum or wood, they're great! I do it about once a week, and just spot check in between. I think I sweep at least once a day with Adam's eating habits!
