Updated Update....

So, we are keeping the binkie. At least for another few months. Dallin and I are planning on flying to North Carolina (yeah!) in May and the binkie will be useful in helping his ear while taking off and landing. I'm a bit nervous about flying that far alone with an 18 month old, but the worse that happen is Dallin is awful, everyone on the plane hates me, and I never have to see them again. And I think it will so be worth it. So this leads me to my next question....anyone know how to best haddle this toddler flight? Any suggestions would be helpful.

I wish I could give some advice-I know some moms phase it out-like they only let their child use it for naps and bedtime. None of my children were binkie kids-but Brooke likes to suck on her index finger-not something you can just take away, you know? YOu could try putting tobasco sauce on em-so they taste bad and maybe he wont like them anymore. I hope you find something that works.

sorry i thought you said fight-not flight..well my biggest advice is to bring along sticker books and plenty of snacks. Maybe a portable dvd player if you have one-if he will watch a movie.

I've never even flown myself, let alone try to handle a 1 year old. Sorry, but good luck!

He got the Nikon D60. It wasn't cheap(I hate spending money)but the pictures are sooo much better then our other one and it takes them fast so you can catch speedy toddlers:) PS we aren't ready to give up our binkie yet either.
