Book Of Mormon Stories

Or rather, Book of Mormon Cases. I have made two more. I decided to call them Book of Mormon cases, because the are too small to be scripture cases. The kids in our primary class that bring scriptures (when any of them do) usually only just bring a Book of Mormon. Line upon line, right? I'll try it again sometime and get the measurements right before Dallin gets old enough to carry all the books of scripture with him. For now I ordered him a $2.50 Book of Mormon from LDS.org.  He's excited because we read the Book of Mormon as a family, and now he will have his own book to "read" from.

Enough rambling about that. I decided to make more because I have been having this crazy desire to sew all the time. My machine gets pulled out almost nightly. I had plenty of scrap fabric around, and more than enough pairs of jeans to cut up, so I made two more. I decided to make them for my niece and nephew. They get to be my guinea pigs too. So what do you think?

So I'll be sending them soon. It's going to be up to their mom to get them Books of Mormon. (Though I'm sure their Grandma has a few hanging around from family scripture study time.

They are so cute! The kids actually got scriptures and cases for Christmas, but they will love these!

These are so cute! If I keep reading your blog, I am going to have to get a sewing machine. You already have inspired me to do more crafts. Speaking of crafts. Adam talks about doing a "craft" with Dallin and wearing his turkey shirt all the time. :) Isn't it funny that they love the simplest things!
