Jumpin Jax, Etc.

I got a good deal on Groupon.com for a place called Jumpin Jax. It's like Bounce U in North Carolina. Dallin kept calling it Jax U. It was in a large room. there were only around 15 other kids there. In the center of the room were couches and comfy chairs with tons of newspapers and magazines. I spent some time relaxing and the rest climbing with Dallin. They even had a smaller kids areas for those under 5.

He got brave and climbed up himself. Once he got to the top he freaked out and I had to climb  there to go down the slide with him. That was after having to find his socks he took off somewhere in the obstacle coarse.

I spent this morning neglecting Dallin so I could craft. OK, he got to watch a couple movies while I crafted. It was all for him....enough excuses. :) I made him a scripture case. It's big enough for a Book Of Mormon. I got the idea here. The applique leaves something to be desired, but I sure gave it my all. I used bits of fabric I had on hand, so it's all mis-matched.  (Aly, you will recognize more of it from our turkey shirts.)

I haven't order Dallin a paper back Book of Mormon yet, so right now it has my old seminary scriptures in it.

You will notice his Thunder Cats wrist bands. One of the many quick costumes/dress up items Dallin and I made. We whip up things a lot. :) I'll post my fast (and not well done) Larry Boy costume later. (The wrist band idea come from here)

He was so exited. At church in primary all the kids got a book mark and scripture marking pencil with a list of the scriptures they are going to learn this year. He thinks it's all pretty cool and he's so grown up.
